Hey ‘n Howdy to ya and thanks for stopping by! This is the main home of the Texas Posse's -- a group of down-home C&W men in the Great State of Texas and the only surviving regional Posse's that started from the Far West Posse. Our friends at the Appalachian, MidSouth, and NorthWest have faded away. We hope that meeting other posse members will feel like you've known that person for a long time, the kind of folk who feel as comfortable as an old glove and who you can simply sit and talk for hours with over a cup of coffee without feeling awkward or pressured to say something in those quiet gaps of conversation. Our members include a variety of folks....... religious, agnostic, atheist, straight, gay, bisexual, mechanics, cowboys, truckers, republicans and democrats, Texans or Yankees - we don't care. Some are married, single, committed, or just seeking friendship. Some who run a ranch, farm, cattle, train horses, or just plain ol' mainstream professionals - blue collar, white collar, no collar. We're just a group of folks who share down home country values & similar interests. If you are bigoted, racist, or looking for a dating service, then you'd best keep riding on down the road - you won't find what you're looking for here either. There are lots of other websites, bars and such where you can find all that. If you are looking to meet honest, down-home, regular folks who love and live the C&W lifestyle, then you're in the right spot! We're mostly men (and a few women) who respect each other and don't mind gettin' a little dirty when there's work to be done. There are no bylaws and no political or religious agendas.
